The Rinnai Infinity A26 (model INFA26N for natural gas, INFA26L for LPG) is the largest external continuous flow unit in Rinnai's A-Series. Designed and made in Japan, it delivers up to 26 litres per minute at a 25°C temperature rise — enough to run two showers and a tap simultaneously in most Auckland homes. The unit produces 44.5 kW of output from a maximum gas input of 199 MJ/h at 80% thermal efficiency, and uses direct electronic ignition with no pilot light.
The A26 mounts on an exterior wall and operates on mains pressure from 200 to 1000 kPa. It is factory set to deliver water at 50°C with fixed temperature settings available at 40, 42, 50, 55, 60 and 65°C. Frost protection is fitted as standard and operates automatically below 3.5°C.
