How long does a straight swap take?

Most like-for-like replacements are done in 2-3 hours. We disconnect the old unit, mount the new one in the same position, connect the gas and water, test, and issue the gas safety certificate.

Do I need a gas certificate for a straight swap?

Yes. All gas work in New Zealand requires a gas safety certificate. We issue one with every installation — it is included in the price.

Can I upgrade from an older model to a newer one?

Yes. Even if the connections are slightly different, we adjust the pipework to fit the new unit. Most upgrades from older Rinnai or Bosch units to a new Infinity A26 are straightforward.

What happens to my old unit?

We remove it and take it with us. Disposal is included in the price.

Is a straight swap cheaper than a full conversion?

Yes. A straight swap starts from $2,199 because the gas and water connections are already in place. A conversion from a cylinder is more involved and starts from $3,599.
